Method
- Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line the baking pan with parchment paper, setting it aside.

- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together using a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth and glossy. Let the mixture cool slightly to prevent cooking the eggs.

- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture becomes light, fluffy, and slightly pale, about 2-3 minutes.

- Gently fold the cooled chocolate-butter mixture into the egg mixture, combining until smooth and integrated.

- Sift the flour and salt into the batter, then fold gently until just combined. Do not overmix to keep the brownies tender.

- Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula to fill all corners.

- Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, until the edges are set and slightly darker, and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.

- Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the pan for about 15 minutes, allowing the edges to firm up and crackle.

- Transfer the brownies to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, cut into squares and decorate as desired for a spooky Halloween effect.

- Enjoy your dark, fudgy Halloween brownies, perfect for sharing and decorating with fun, spooky toppings!

Notes
For extra spooky flair, add candy eyes or dust with powdered sugar before serving.
